The sleeves on this jacket are quite a challenge. But somehow these "Brainbirds" made of the front part of a MRI of the skull looks great. See what you think

Sermarr Artjeans “Budded Crosses” Finished With Red Glass Beads

Posted by Sermarr

Today I also finished stitching red glass beads on the four corners of the budded crosses on the right knee. Stitching beads on is not my forte! But I felt it was needed on this one to emphasize the mystery of the cross. Just need to trim the little black thread pieces but can't do that right now. Because I can't find my scissors! Wonder where they went?

Sermarr Artjacket “Brain” Gets Silver Medallion On The Back

Posted by Sermarr

Today I wanted to make the back of this jacket have a lovely silver medallion to later accept the "brain" that I have planned for it. And to match the silver buttons on the front. I put it on one of my black shirts also so you can see the design better.

Sermarr Artjacket Experiment with Etsy Aardvark Market

Posted by Sermarr

Today I began to work on an experiment in collaboration with Etsy's Aardvark Market of vintage clothing. I've been given a box of clothes to work into Sermarr Artclothes. We'll see what sells.
First try is a Bennetton pink polyester "Jean" jacket. Never worked on polyester before, but here goes. I love pink and dark blue so this seemed a good beginning. Hard to print over the seams but hand painting helped fill in some of the distressed looking parts. What do u think?

Sermarr Artshirts “Favorite Artists” Moves Ahead

Posted by Sermarr

This is a studio shirt I was practicing on. I wanted to inscribe my favorite artists on it. And to put some space to add more. And to have hands for the meaning of "the hand of the artist" ,even thought nowadays I learn more and more that the hands and machines of the artist's assistants/studio are what is seen. So here they are:my inspirations,at least the modern 3D ones
